New departures terminal

The construction of the new passenger departure terminal at Vilnius Airport was completed in September 2024, and after the necessary testing processes, the terminal was officially opened to all passengers on February 4, 2025.

With the opening of this 14.4-thousand-square-meter terminal, the total passenger terminal area at Vilnius Airport increased by one-third, while passenger throughput doubled—from 1,200 to 2,400 passengers per hour—ensuring comfortable and efficient service at the airport.

Additionally, in August 2024, the reconstruction of the transportation access areas in front of Vilnius Airport was completed. Engineering networks were upgraded, the entire surface was significantly renovated, and canopies were installed for passengers and transport. As a result, the traffic scheme for passengers became significantly more convenient and straightforward.
