At Vilnius Airport, passengers can use self-service baggage drop-off terminals, which allow you to quickly and conveniently check in and drop off baggage without waiting in line.<\/p>\n

Currently, this service is provided only for passengers of the following airlines: Lufthansa, Austrian, Norwegian, Brussels Airlines, Swiss, SAS, Wizzair and Airbaltic.<\/p>\n

Passengers of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Swiss may check in their baggage at the self-service bag drop terminals up to 4 hours before their scheduled departure time.<\/p>\n

Passengers of airBaltic and SAS may check in their baggage at the self-service bag drop terminals up to 3 hours before their scheduled departure time.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

How to use the self-service baggage drop-off system?<\/h4>\n

The self-service baggage drop-off process at Vilnius Airport takes place in two steps:<\/p>\n

Step 1 – Baggage Check-in<\/summary>\n
    \n
  1. Check in for your flight online or at one of the Step 1 self-service terminals at the airport*<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Before checking in your baggage, remove all old baggage tags and barcode stickers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select your flight airline and follow the instructions to check in your baggage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Attach the printed new baggage label to your baggage handle as instructed. Attach the label firmly by pressing the red dots.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    \n *Currently, only Lufthansa, Austrian, Norwegian, Swiss, SAS airline passengers can check in at the terminals. When flying with Airbaltic and Wizzair airlines, check-in must be completed online. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
    Step 2 – Baggage Drop-off<\/summary>\n
      \n
    1. Go to the Step 2 self-service terminals where the baggage drop-off process is performed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Press the screen and follow the instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Place the labeled baggage on the conveyor belt as shown on the belt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Make sure the baggage label can be scanned and is easily visible. If everything is done correctly, the system automatically reads the label and the baggage is successfully submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. After completing the process, collect the printed operation receipt and continue your journey.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/details>\n\n\n
