With the increased frequency between Copenhagen and Vilnius, SAS is strengthening connectivity between Lithuania and Scandinavia while continuing to develop Copenhagen as our global hub – linking Scandinavia with the world and the world with Scandinavia through punctual and dependable service,” says Henrik Winell, Vice President Network at SAS.

“We are pleased with the decision of our long-term airline partner to further improve connectivity with its Copenhagen hub. As many as four flights a day from Vilnius not only during summer, but also throughout the year, paired with two flights from Palanga, will enable even more convenient connectivity for those flying for business, leisure, or to visit loved ones in Europe, Asia and in the US. I believe this will not only provide more flexibility in planning trips, but will also encourage more guests from Scandinavia to visit Lithuania,” says Simonas Bartkus, CEO at Lithuanian Airports.

Additional flights between Vilnius and Copenhagen will allow passengers to reach Scandinavia’s main aviation hub even more conveniently, unlocking more connecting flights offered by the airline to various cities in Europe, Asia, and the US.
