Wizz Air launches flights between Vilnius and Gdansk

On 5 May, Wizz Air launched direct regular flights between Vilnius and Gdansk. The airline’s flights to the Polish port city will be operated all year round – four times a week during the aviation summer season, and three times a week during the aviation winter season.


Gdansk is one of the most picturesque cities in Poland, famous for its maritime heritage, colourful architecture and beautiful Baltic beaches. Here, travellers can walk through the historic Old Town, visit the impressive St. Peter’s Church. St. Mary’s Church, visit the European Solidarity Centre or enjoy relaxation in the seaside resorts of Sopot and Gdynia.


Gdansk has become the third Polish route from Vilnius Airport. In addition to the port city, year-round flights are also operated to Warsaw and Krakow.
