Controls are carried out by the State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS).
Medicine and Medical Equipment
Passengers may carry medical equipment and medicines for personal use; however, the quantities must correspond to the duration of the trip. In certain cases, a doctor’s prescription or medical certificate may be required.
Please note that passengers are strongly advised to keep medicines in their hand baggage at all times.
Plants, Seeds and Products of Plant Origin
When importing plants, seeds, fruit, vegetables or other products of plant origin from non-EU countries, phytosanitary control may apply.
