A new airline is entering the Lithuanian aviation market. On May 22 the Latvian airline airBaltic launched direct flights between Vilnius, Lithuania, and Prague, the Czech Republic. Aviation company GetJet Airlines has won the land lease auction organized by Lithuanian Airports (LTOU) in late 2024 for a site within Vilnius Airport.
