We inform that temporary airspace restrictions were introduced above Vilnius Airport on November 30 at 18:09. According to initial information, the decision to restrict airspace was triggered by navigation signals characteristic of balloons moving in the direction of Vilnius Airport. These restrictions were lifted on December 1 at 05:00. All operations at Vilnius Airport are now running normally.

The temporary airspace restrictions affected more than 7,400 passengers and 50 flights: 31 flights were cancelled, 10 diverted, and 9 delayed.

We remind passengers that minor delays may still occur throughout December 1 due to disrupted crew and aircraft rotations.

Passengers whose flights were impacted by the restrictions are invited to contact their airlines directly for detailed information.

Flight information is available on the Vilnius Airport website: www.vno.lt.
