Vilnius Airport Operations Disrupted on November 23–24

On November 24, starting from 01:40, temporary airspace restrictions were implemented over Vilnius Airport. According to preliminary information, the decision to impose these restrictions was caused by navigation markers, typical for balloons, moving in the direction of Vilnius Airport. The airspace restrictions were lifted on November 24 at approximately 03:25.

Earlier, on November 23 at 18:55, temporary airspace restrictions were also implemented over Vilnius Airport. According to preliminary information, these restrictions were likewise caused by navigation markers, typical for balloons, moving in the direction of Vilnius Airport. The airspace restrictions were lifted on November 24 at around 00:25.

Throughout November 24, individual flight delays may occur due to disrupted crew and aircraft rotations.
